SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2026

A WORD FROM OUR DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT, THERESA SPENCER

As summer winds down and families across New Mexico return to school-year routines, NMPBS remains committed to what public media has always done best: educate, inform, inspire, and entertain.

With the loss of federal funding last year, member support is the power behind NMPBS, and your generosity helps strengthen and sustain the programming that engages, enriches, and connects our communities.

Because of you, new and returning favorites are on the way, including MASTERPIECE mysteries: The Marlow Murder Club and Marble Hall Murders, NATURE: Matriarch: A Jane Goodall Story, and the Hispanic Heritage Awards.

Locally, New Mexico in Focus and ¡COLORES! bring you stories and perspectives that reflect the people, places, and experiences that make New Mexico unique.

Thank you for your membership and for helping keep NMPBS a trusted resource for New Mexico today and for generations to come.

PBS is a wonderful tool to use daily. Always up to date with the World events/news. Great programming for any age. Thanks for being a part of my life.

— Irene, Albuquerque
